I had a macro pituitary tumor surgically removed in early 2009.  This left me with a basically-uselss pituitary.  I now must take a host of hormones and medications in order for my body to funtion as normally as it can.  Since the operation, my body seems to be falling apart.  I am 52 years old and have developed advanced arthritis and muscle loss, among other degenerations.  Is there any study that shows what long-term treatment side-effects there may be after an operation of this kind?
